Rainham Marshes Saturday 14th and Abberton 15th December…

We had a wonderful day at Rainham Marshes! After being cooped up due to bad weather, it felt refreshing to enjoy the outdoors again, especially on a sunny day.

Walking the full route past the hides was as alwaysa great way to experience the diverse wildlife and landscapes that the marshes have to offer. Although it was quiet, plenty of water after the constant rains we have been having, but still we were able to spot some interesting birds .

Abberton LBC was very quite, saw very little so we went to the reserve to a grab a coffee and a walk round….nice to see lots of people out and about, we decided to stop on the main causeway on the way out. The walk was good for us as always…
